The School of Forest Resources (SFR) at the University of Maine seeks a collaborative colleague to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in Silviculture. Forests dominate 90% of Maine’s landscape and play a critical role in its economy, through forest products, nature-based tourism, and ecosystem services. Maine’s forest products economy is in transition, with changes in land ownership and markets and the emergence of new forest products; forest structures and disturbance regimes are also evolving in response to introduced and recurring pests and a novel climate.

The College of Natural Resources (www.cnr.uidaho.edu), University of Idaho, invites applications for a full time, 9 month tenured position as Associate or Full Professor of Natural Resource Policy and Management, and Director of the Policy Analysis Group. The position will be a part of the Department of Natural Resources and Society and Environmental Science Program, and will report to the Dean of the College of Natural Resources.

Rank and Nature of Position: Assistant/Associate Professor; twelve-month tenure track. The position is 80% Extension and 20% Research.

Work Location: Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Louisiana State University Agricultural Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
