NAUFRP co-signed a letter to the House and Senate Agriculture Committee leaders supporting provisions from the Forests in the Farm Bill Coalition platform in August, 2018. Read that letter here
NAUFRP is a member of the Forests in the Farm Bill Coalition. The Coalition released its platform for the 2018 Farm Bill on July 20, 2017. Read more about the Coalition platform here
The Forests in the Farm Bill Coalition appealed to the House Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry to use the 2018 Farm Bill to address challenges faced by forest landowners. The coalition is a diverse group of interests that has worked together for more than 15 years to build consensus forest sector platforms for the last three Farm Bills.
